Είμαστε οι Breeding The Shadows και το είδος της μουσικής που παίζουμε είναι sludge / post Metal.

Ξεκινήσαμε να γράφουμε μουσική γιατί... η μουσική είναι ένας κοινός μας κώδικας επικοινωνίας, πέρα από κοινή μας -προφανώς- αγάπη.

Θα σας αρέσουμε αν σας αρέσουν οι...midtempo, ατμοσφαιρικές συνθέσεις.

Ένα κομμάτι μας που πρέπει να ακούσετε είναι...το “Plague” από το επερχόμενο EP μας.

Την πρώτη φορά που ανεβήκαμε στη σκηνή για live... παίξαμε τέσσερα κομμάτια τα οποία είχαμε δουλέψει μόνο λίγους μήνες κι έτσι δεν ξέραμε τι να περιμένουμε. Εκεί έγκειται όμως και η μαγεία του πρώτου live.

Tο ελληνικό μουσικό ραδιόφωνο (των FM) είναι...ταυτόσημο του εύπεπτου, όπως και κάθε Μ.Μ.Ε. - με κάποιες ελάχιστες εξαιρέσεις. Στον αντίποδα, το ιντερνετικό ραδιόφωνο είναι πολύ πιο “ανοιχτό” και φιλόξενο, πολύ πιο “ανήσυχο”.

Θα θέλαμε κάποτε να κάνουμε ένα live μαζί με τους... Dead Can Dance.

Θα γουστάραμε να ήταν δική μας σύνθεση... το “Solitary Reign” των Amenra.

Ένα live που παραβρεθήκαμε -σαν θεατές- και μας «πήρε τα μυαλά» ήταν... το Rejection 2 των Dirty Granny Tales.

Η συμβουλή μας σε όποιον σκέφτεται να φτιάξει μπάντα είναι... να λαμβάνει υπόψιν του τις συμβουλές των άλλων, κυρίως όμως να εμπιστεύεται το ένστικτό του.

Χωρίς το internet... η μουσική θα ήταν και πάλι παντού.

Αν μπορούσαμε να μεταφερθούμε σε ένα μουσικό περιβάλλον του παρελθόντος... αυτό θα ήταν της μη ύπαρξης.

Η πλέον παράξενη ατάκα που έχουμε ακούσει σε live μας είναι... ότι τους θυμίσαμε τους Paradise Lost.

Θα ήταν τέλειο αν κάποτε συνεργαζόμασταν με... μια θεατρική ομάδα πάνω σε ένα μουσικοθεατρικό έργο.

Η πλέον υποτιμημένη μπάντα στον πλανήτη είναι οι... Schammasch.

Ένα από τα καλύτερα albums που έχουν ποτέ γραφτεί είναι το... When The Kite Spring Pops από Acid Bath.

Εκτός της μουσικής, γεμίζουμε το χρόνο μας... μη σκεπτόμενοι τον χρόνο.

Ένα βιβλίο που μας συνεπήρε είναι το... “NAI” της Μαργαρίτας Καραπάνου.

Μία πόλη που θα θέλαμε να ζήσουμε είναι... μία πόλη που ακόμα αναζητούμε.

Σε 10 χρόνια από τώρα θα θέλαμε σα μπάντα να... ξαναδιαβάσουμε αυτές τις απαντήσεις.

Η ερώτηση που ποτέ δε μας κάνουν, οπότε την ρωτάμε και απαντάμε μόνοι μας είναι...: Τι σημαίνει το όνομά σας; Το όνομά μας είναι εμπνευσμένο από την αναλυτική ψυχολογία και πιο συγκεκριμένα τη θεωρία του C. Jung περί σκιών.

We got involved with music because … music is our mutual code of communication, apart from being our mutual love.

When we got on stage for our first gig… we played for songs that we had worked upon, only for some months and we didn’t know what to expect. But there, is exactly where the magic of a live performance lies.

(FM) radio nowadays is… a synonym of easily “digestable” music. As every massive media is, with only just a few exceptions. On the other hand, internet radio is much more “open” and enquiring.

We would really like to give a concert…with Dead Can Dance.

It would be great if we had composed…. “Solitary Reign” by Amenra.

A gig that we attended -as part of the crowd- and really “blow our minds”, was…. Rejection 2 by Dirty Granny Tales.

Our advice to anyone who wants to form a band is.…to is to take in consideration the advice of others, but especially to trust their instincts.

Without internet, music would…. still be everywhere.

If we could go back to the past, and live in a music environment (country, era), that would be… that of non-existence.

The weirdest thing we have heard in one of our gigs is… that we reminded them of Paradise Lost.

It would be great if we ever had the chance to work with… a theatrical team on a musical-theatrical play.

The most underrated band in the world is… is Schammasch.

One of the best albums ever written is… When The Kite Spring Pops by Acid Bath.

Apart from music, we also like to spend our time…. on not thinking about time.

One book that we were really overwhelmed by was… is “NAI” (Yes) by Margaret Karapanou.

One city that we would love to live in would be a... city that we haven’t found yet.

In 10 years from today, we -as a band- would like to… read again all these answers.

One question that nobody ever asks us, so we are going to ask and answer it ourselves is: … -What does your name stand for? - Our name is inspired by analytical psychology, and more specifically the theory of C. Jung about shades.
